The 1910 Los Angeles International Air Meet was held at Dominguez Field in Southern California, on land adjacent to the present day California State University, Dominguez Hills campus. The event was the first International Air Meet held in the United States and marked the beginning of a long lasting and lucrative relationship between the aerospace industry and the region.
