Features
A Bachelor of Arts and minor in Africana Studies provides a solid factual and conceptual foundation of the history and the development of the African people and their societies. The program can serve as a valuable component in the education of all students. Students are encouraged to participate in practical learning by serving an internship or practicum in African American and African world communities both locally and internationally. In addition, students are encouraged to work concurrently with other disciplines in the College of Liberal Arts, College of Natural and Behavioral Sciences, College of Education, College of Business Administration and Public Policy, and College of Health and Human Services.
