| Clear Credential Teacher Education
Following issuance of the Preliminary Credential, the teacher
has five years to complete the following additional requirements
for the Professional Clear Credential:
- Thirty semester units of post baccalaureate coursework
including:
- TED 405 Mainstreaming Children with Special Needs (3.0)
- HEA 300 Health in Public Education
- TED 420 Computer Literacy for Teachers (1.0) (limited
to CSUDH Preliminary Credential candidates) or GED 535 Introduction
to Computers in Education (3.0)

TV classes are broadcast live from specially-equipped classrooms
on the CSUDH campus. Although some courses require students
to come on campus for a final examination, they can attend
all of the classes over TV. 800 numbers are provided for students
to call in and speak to the instructor during the broadcast.
All broadcasts can be seen on Channel 36 in the City of Los
Angeles, Channel 54 on most South Bay cable systems, Channel
48 in the Harbor area, on Cross Country Wireless Cable Television
in the Inland Empire, on PrimeOne Tele-TV, and live via the
Internet at www.csudh.edu/dominguezonline.
