Mission Statement With an emphasis on quality and responsive service, the Office of Academic Affairs Personnel Services (formerly Faculty Affairs) provides for many of the human resources needs of the University’s academic personnel as well as the staff personnel within the Division of Academic Affairs. For faculty personnel of the University, Academic Affairs Personnel Services is responsible for a number of broad, academic-related programs and activities, which include full-time academic recruitments, all faculty evaluation processes, and various kinds of leaves of absence. For the staff personnel in the Division, Academic Affairs Personnel Services is actively involved in recruitments, classification actions, and compensation administration. With the faculty and staff Collective Bargaining Agreements and various campus policies as governing authorities, Academic Affairs Personnel Services strives to meet the many needs of the University’s teaching and other faculty, and those of the Division's staff employees, while addressing the complex and sensitive matters that can directly and indirectly impact them.
