PHILOSOPHY: GREEKS: PHILOSOPHY, TRAGEDY AND THE POLIS

This course traces the development of Greek philosophy in conjunction with the rise of the polis; compares and contrasts Platonic philosophy with Sophoclean tragedy; and looks at the nature of ethics and politics through some works of Aristotle.
