About the series
While attending a Theatre and Dance Department “Victorian tea” on
stage prior to the performance of “Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde” this past fall,
several OLLI members had the opportunity to see “behind the scenes” of
a CSUDH performance. Because this experience was so successful and
enjoyable, a series of lectures based around scheduled performances at
CSUDH has been scheduled.
Presenter’s lectures revolve around the productions offered in Spring 2012.
These productions are: (1) “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide
When the Rainbow is Enuf”, (2) “Spring Awakening”, and (3) “Taking
Flight: The Spring Dance Concert.”
The Theatre and Dance Department Faculty and Staff at CSUDH invite you
to be entertained, informed and inspired by attending the following lectures prior to attending scheduled performances.
