Peoples of the South Bay Area Series
OLLI is pleased to continue our Peoples of the South Bay Area Series with
three more population groups; India, Germany, and Japan. We begin the
Spring with our speaker, Kayoko Nakagawa, who will present Japanese in the
South Bay on April 10, 2012. On April 17, Irmgard Johnson will present
Germans in Los Angeles, and on April 24, Mandip Kaur will present Asian
Indians in the South Bay.
Each presentation will focus on the achievements and contributions of
these Peoples of the South Bay. We anticipate they will engage us in lively
discussion and factual dialogue that will enhance our knowledge of how the
South Bay Area has developed and evolved through the years.
We look forward to seeing you on Tuesdays from 1:30 to 3:30 on:
