Aging and Health Care Reform
Tuesday, April 5

OLLI members are invited to a special event encore presentation on Aging Well through Health Care Reform on Tuesday, April 5, 2011. Lisa Santora, MD, MPH is the Chief Medical Officer at the Beach Cities Health District. She will present up-to-date information about the Health Care Reform bill (H.R. 3590) and how its provisions may affect your ability to age well.
Dr. Santora focuses on the current benefits, limitations, and changes in public (Medicare) and private insurance plans for older adults that are results from the passage of the Health Care Reform bill. She is skillful in addressing very complex information in an interesting, informative, and understandable way by using a combination of powerpoint and interactive, discussion formats.
You don’t want to miss this event. We all know someone (if only ourselves) who is confused about what all this is about and what it means on a personal, day-to-day level. Perhaps we can all agree that knowledge today helps us plan for tomorrow regardless of our age and circumstances?
