It’s Easy to Get an E-Mail Account ! PC
Are your grandchildren bugging you about getting into the e-mail generation?
Do you realize that it’s very easy to get your very own personal e-mail
account? You’ll leave the first class meeting with your brand new and free
Google Mail (Gmail) account. You’ll be able to access your account anywhere
you can access the Internet—at your public library, perhaps, Starbuck’s, or at
the CSUDH student computer lab. Come to class thinking about a username
you’d hope to use, e.g., Princess Diana. Wait. That one’s probably already
taken. So have alternatives in mind.
The second class meeting topics include adding attachments to e-mails,
managing e-mails in your inbox, and organizing a contacts list.
Prerequisite: How do you Turn this Computer On? or equivalent experience.
Instructor: Marion Smith, OLLI Member.
