Advanced Safety & Health Certificate

To be awarded the CSUDH Advanced Safety & Health Certificate participants must complete both OSHA 510 or 511, OSHA 521 and five eligible electives. At least three of the courses, including the final two, must be completed through the CSUDH OTI Education Center. All courses must be completed within a 5 year period.

Certificate In Healthcare Facilities

The Certificate in Healthcare Safety is designed for the professional in the healthcare environment who is responsible for the safety of patients, employees, and visitors. A Certificate in Healthcare Safety will provide a solid foundation to assist one in facilitating institutional compliance with OSHA regulations and meeting The Joint Commission (TJC) standards as they relate to the environment of care.

Public Sector Safety & Health Fundamentals
Certificate Program - Construction

The certificate program in Public Sector Safety & Health Fundamentals supports OSHA’s mission by training public sector employees in occupational safety and health to reduce incident rates for workers in state and local governments. Participants have the opportunity to earn certificates for Construction and General Industry training.

Participants may earn a safety training certificate for Construction after successfully completing a minimum of seven courses, comprised of a minimum of 68 contact hours of training.

Certificate Program - General Industry

The certificate program in Public Sector Safety & Health Fundamentals supports OSHA’s mission by training public sector employees in occupational safety and health to reduce incident rates for workers in state and local governments. Participants have the opportunity to earn certificates for Construction and General Industry training.

Participants may earn a safety training certificate for General Industry after successfully completing a minimum of seven courses, comprised of a minimum of 68 contact hours of training.
