• What is the California Dream Act? The California Dream Act: Two new California laws allow undocumented (AB 540) students who meet certain criteria to apply for financial aid. Assembly Bill 130 allows undocumented students to apply for private scholarships at public colleges and universities in California and is effective January 2012. Assembly Bill 131 allows undocumented students to apply for state financial aid at public colleges and universities in California and is effective January 2013. For more information, click here.
