When are the Housing Application Deadlines?

Am I Eligible for University Housing?

You are eligible to apply for housing if:

1. You are a full-time or part-time undergraduate or graduate student, enrolled at California State University, Dominguez Hills, and in good academic standing. You MUST be enrolled or in the process of enrolling at CSUDH in order to reside in Housing.
2. You are married and one spouse is a student who meets the above criteria. Please note, however, that Housing does not accommodate children. Married couples are only eligible for a one-bedroom apartment and the rental fees are per person. Each spouse must submit an application.

How Do I Apply?

Simply follow our application checklist below and remember to apply for housing as early as possible. Demand is especially high for the three-bedroom single occupancy and one-bedroom double occupancy apartments. Housing operates on a first come, first served basis.

Step 1: Complete the Housing Application

You may choose one of the following options:

• Fill out and then print our Housing Application or
• Contact us via e-mail, telephone, or mail and request an application. We can either mail or fax it to you. Please remember to include your postal address and/or fax number with your request.

Step 2: Enclose your $30 Application Fee (non-refundable) with your Housing Application

• University Housing applicants are required to pay a $30 non-refundable Application Fee at the time they submit their application. Unfortunately, we cannot process applications received without the $30 Application Fee.
• Your check/money order should be made payable to CSUDH Housing.

Step 3: Mail your completed Housing Application and $30 Application Fee to the Housing Office at the following address:

Step 4: Wait for notification from Housing to submit the $300 security deposit

• After we have received your Housing Application, we will send you a letter, asking you to submit a $300 security deposit.
• Depending on when your application is received, you may be asked to submit the security deposit at the same time as your first rent payment.

Step 5: Wait for notification from Housing to submit your first rent payment

• We will send you a letter, asking you to submit your first rent payment.
• Depending on when your application is received, you may be asked to submit your first rent payment at the same time as your security deposit.

Step 6: Expect to Receive an Official space confirmation notice in the week prior to moving in.
