Academic Affairs Program Effectiveness Council

In response to PM 00-03, the Academic Affairs Program Effectiveness Committee (AAPEC) will be responsible for reviewing all divisional programs. The committee's charges will include:

• Evaluate assessments and data that may result in the modification of plans, goals, and strategies;
• Make program recommendations such as initiation of new programs and establishment of priorities in program planning; and
• Assess resource needs of the division and its programs.

The process and timeline for academic degree programs (including Minors without degrees) and the colleges and academic support units are provided in the Program Effectiveness Report (PER) Guideline and Timeline (revised October 2007) document.
