Accessible Technology Initiative (ATI) Committee
Attention (10/12/09): There should be no institutional purchases by any CSUDH department of the Kindle DX, pending the outcome of a suit filed by National Federation of the Blind (NFB) against the institutional use of this model device because of reported non-compliance to Section 504 of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The CSUDH Accessible Technology Initiative (ATI) Committee, comprised of CSUDH faculty, staff and administrators, meets on the last Tuesday of the month to discuss strategies for the promotion of universal access to instructional material, procurement, and Web pages on the CSUDH campus. Jeremiah Woolsey, Director, Instructional Technology, chairs the ATI Committee.
