There will be times you will want to create poll questions in advance of class. To do this you create question lists which allow you to save questions and answers and then load them into the program at a later time.

1. Under Create and Manage, go to the Launchpad and click on Question Lists.

2. Click on New Question List.

3. Start by entering your question and answer text. If you need more answer choices, click on the Add Answer Choice button.

4. Select a correct answer, if applicable. When you select a correct answer the others are automatically marked incorrect. You are not required to choose an answer as correct.

5. Set the various properties for the question as needed. You can add properties for the question including how many points students get for answering correctly or if the correct answer will be marked on the results page (if there is a correct answer).

6. To add additional questions click on Add Question and select the kind of question you want to create. If choosing a fill in the blank question, try to include common misspellings of the word in the acceptable answers.

7. When done adding questions, click Save so that your questions can be loaded during class.
