Turning in homework with digital dropbox
Step 1: Click the "Tools" button.
Step 2: Click the "Digital Drop Box" button.
Note: The "Add File" button puts the file in your Digital Drop Box but does not send it. Your professor will not get your file. It stores it in the digital dropbox to be sent at some later point in time. Make sure you click the "Send File" button to send your file to your professor.
Step 3: In the title field, type the name of your file. The title should be something specific to your file, rather than just the name of the assignment. Remember, if your class is doing an assignment on Mars, naming your file "Mars" is not very helpful. Instructors usually do not like having a hundred documents with the same name on their hard drive.
Step 4: Click the "Browse" button. In the window that appears, find the file on your computer.
Step 5: Select your file and click the open or upload button. The name of the file should appear in the File field.
Step 6: Click the "Submit" button.
You will get a message stating that your document has been submitted (if you selected the "Add File" button) or sent (if you selected the "Send File" button). If you only added your file, you must go back into your digital drop box and send it. To send your file, click the "Send File" button, select your document from the "Select File" field, and click "Submit."
