Under contract with the Follett Corporation, the University Bookstore provides all required textbooks and supplies for students and faculty and also offers general interest books, magazines, cards, gifts, insignia sportswear and memorabilia, and general merchandise to accommodate the needs of the campus community.  The computer department in the University Bookstore offers state-of-the-art personal computers, printers, modems, and a variety of computer hardware and software at attractive prices to students, faculty and staff.

Students may make purchases with cash, ATM cards, Visa, American Express, MasterCard, or Discover.  Personal checks are accepted with a student identification card and a valid driver's license.

Textbooks are eligible for a full refund when accompanied by original receipt within the first two weeks of the semester, and within two days if purchased thereafter.  New books must be in original condition. Test preparation guides and texts purchased during midterms or finals are not eligible for refunds.

Textbooks are bought back year-round.  National market value is offered for books in resalable condition that are not needed by the Bookstore, but which are current at other schools.  If the Bookstore has a current order from a faculty member for texts needed the upcoming semester, fifty (50) percent of the purchase price will be paid for books in resalable condition.

*Catering Services are available 7 days a week based on reservation booking's).  We also provide catering to off-campus locations. Please allow 2 weeks minimum when booking any catered event. Additional fees may be applied for off-hour scheduling.

Steps to a successful Catering

Inquiry/Order:

 

1. What, Where and When:  Please know when your event is, what time it is for and where it going to take place

2. Review Menu:  All menus are available on the University Website – Campus Dining

3. Budget:  Know your Budget or at least an Estimate in Advance

4. Order Process: (2 Weeks Prior to your Event is Recommended)

   1. Submit Catering Request Form – by FAX 310 516-4197

   2. Submit Catering Request – By Email @ dhcatering@csudh.edu

   3. Contact our Catering Office @ 310 243-3814 Melissa Gallegos, Catering Coordinator  

   4. If you would like to include our Executive Chef in your planning, please make an appointment with Executive Chef Flores, CCSA @ eflores@csudh.edu
