in 2006: 9/23/06 10/4/06 CYCLING WORKSHOPS & CLASSES AT THE VELODROME: The ADT Event Center at The Home Depot Center offers daily cycling training classes designed for people at all skill levels, from novice to elite. Coaches at the ADT Event Center are former professional and Olympic coaches and cyclists. For more information and a schedule of classes, please visit www.homedepotcenter.com. THE L.A. VELODROME SERIES CONTINUES: The L.A. Velodrome Series continues this month at the ADT Event Center. The series offers racing to USA Cycling-licensed riders of every age and category. The three-hour race programs begin at 3:00 p.m. and are free to the public. Racing will prove exciting in the indoor bicycle track as the budding stars of the future get their feet wet in competition. April dates for the L.A. Velodrome Race Series: April 1 and April 22.
COMMUNITY: Battle of the High School Marching Bands National Finalists To Be Announced Later this Month 2006 BATTLE OF THE HIGH SCHOOL MARCHING BANDS FINALISTS ANNOUNCEMENT: Later this month, The Home Depot Center will announce the eight finalists who will battle it out “Southern Show Style” on the stadium field on November 19 in the third annual Battle of the High School Marching Bands. With more than 100 applicants, these eight finalists from across the nation will have the opportunity to compete in front of a panel of music industry executives and celebrity judges for $10,000 and prizes. Look for the finalists announcement later this month!
STADIUM CLUB: Watch UEFA Champions League Tournament Games at Lunch at the American Express Stadium Club CALLING FOR CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FANS: The American Express Stadium Club at The Home Depot Center will show televised UEFA Champions League Tournament matches during the lunch hour throughout the month of April. The Stadium Club opens daily at 11:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, and offers complimentary valet parking for lunch patrons.
