Academic/TOEFL Preparation

I-20 (for Student Visa)

The American Language and Culture Program issues an I-20 to qualified students.

Certificate of Completion

A Certificate of Completion is awarded upon successful completion of the program.

Conditional Admittance

Students who have not yet achieved the University's TOEFL requirement, may still apply for a conditional University admission. Conditionally Admitted students must meet all other University requirements of the specific University program to which they have applied. Please contact the individual program or major for their requirements.

The American Language and Culture Program will assist prospective international students in the processing of required documents for admission. These include but are not limited to:

After receipt of all required materials students can expect the processing of documents to take 30-60 days. Students who receive the conditional admission will receive an I-20 from ALCP which indicates their conditional admission. Upon achieving the required TOEFL score, students may begin University attendance in the following semester.

A student in the American Language and Culture Program may gain conditional admittance to the following:

English Language Training and a TOEFL score of 500 - 550 are prerequisites.

University Classes for Advanced English Students

Advanced English language students may take university courses for credit via the Open University system, if they meet requirements and if space is available. Some of the many areas of study are listed under Undergraduate Majors, Options and Concentrations and Graduate Degree Programs and Options.
