Alumna Linda DeYampert is the first African American woman in management at the NFL Network

Linda Corsey DeYampert knows how to tackle a challenge. The California State University, Dominguez Hills alumna (Class of ’99, B.S., business management) took on a traditionally male-dominated industry when in 2006 she stepped into the role of manager of scheduling operations for one of the fastest-growing cable networks in the country – the National Football League (NFL) Network in Culver City.

Freshman Move-in Day Helps Students Feel at Home at College

CSU, Dominguez Hills welcomes incoming freshmen to campus housing.

A week before the bulk of the student body and faculty returned to school this semester, a contingent of freshmen had already made themselves at home on campus. Literally. With the help of their families, the first-time California State University, Dominguez Hills students moved into University Housing.

On Wednesday all transfer and returning students new to living on campus moved in. Then on Friday all returning residents moved back in. Alumni Attitude Study: Let Us Know What You Think

During the past year, the Office of Alumni Programs has begun a process to more effectively and efficiently deliver programming, services and communications to our growing number of alumni. Your opinions and concerns are an important part of this process.

Please help us better understand what you expect from your university and your alumni association by taking a few minutes to complete a survey to measure alumni attitudes and how they impact participation with the association and CSU Dominguez Hills. Your input is critical to helping meet your expectations. For your convenience, this study is conducted online only, and you will not receive any mail or phone calls related to this study.

This confidential survey will be sent to all CSU Dominguez Hills alumni with an e-mail address. If you believe that we do not have your current e-mail address, please update your profile. You should be receiving the survey in late September. The results will be ready in mid-to-late January and will be shared with alumni at large, staff, administrators, and volunteers.

We value the input of all of our alumni and hope that you will participate in this endeavor with us.  Thank you for your support and participation.
