For the cost of a cup of coffee,
you can buy a Cambodian school child
a notebook, a pen and pencil,
and crayons.
What:
The Joy of Learning:
Cambodian Education Project is a collaborative project between CSUDH
Anthropology students and the Cambodian Metta Karuna Foundation from
the Paññasastra University in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Our goal is to
raise $300 to buy school supplies for children in a rural village
near the Cambodia and Vietnam border. Students enrolled in the
Cambodia summer course (ANT 495/SBS 318) offered through Extended
Education, will deliver donations personally to the chosen village.

Sponsor a Cambodian student!
For your
donation of $15, a Cambodian student will receive:
a
backpack, primer, notebooks, chalkboard, chalk,
a dozen
pens and pencils, ruler, crayons and more.
How to Donate:
Place your
monetary donation in the Cambodian Education Project jar located in
the Anthropology Lab, SBS A-134.
