This Week's Meeting

For the cost of a cup of coffee,

you can buy a Cambodian school child

a notebook, a pen and pencil,

and crayons.

What: The Joy of Learning: Cambodian Education Project is a collaborative project between CSUDH Anthropology students and the Cambodian Metta Karuna Foundation from the Paññasastra University in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Our goal is to raise $300 to buy school supplies for children in a rural village near the Cambodia and Vietnam border. Students enrolled in the Cambodia summer course (ANT 495/SBS 318) offered through Extended Education, will deliver donations personally to the chosen village.

How You Can Help: Donate spare change, a dollar bill or go beyond and …

Sponsor a Cambodian student!

For your donation of $15, a Cambodian student will receive:

a backpack, primer, notebooks, chalkboard, chalk,

a dozen pens and pencils, ruler, crayons and more.

How to Donate: Place your monetary donation in the Cambodian Education Project jar located in the Anthropology Lab, SBS A-134.

A Cambodian Child Thanks You for Your Support!
