ELAC: Played two years of volleyball under head coach Rodriguez, leading the Huskies to a 4th-place league finish in 2004...Named to 2nd-team All-League as a freshman, and honorable mention selection as a sophomore.

South El Monte HS: Four-year letter winner for the Eagles, leading EMHS to a league championship in 2003 under head coach Bjornsen with a 9-1 record...Named League MVP as a senior.
