Sept.29 Stanford Invitational Palo Alto, CA

WOMEN HEAD NORTH TO STANFORD
The Cal State Dominguez Hills women's cross-country squad will head up north this weekend to compete at the Stanford Invitational in Palo Alto.

HEAD COACH DEANN SCHLOBOHM
Coach Schlobohm begins her fifth season as head coach of the CS Dominguez Hills Cross Country team. Last season, the Toros finished seventh in the CCAA and took an eleventh place finish at the NCAA Division II Regional Championships. Scholbohm started the Toros Cross Country program from scratch in 1997.

TOROS AT RIVERSIDE
The Toros were among 25 programs and 265 runners to compete at last weekend's UC Riverside Invitational held at the UC Riverside campus. CSUDH took a 14th place finish with a total time of 1:42:22.0, an average time of 20:28.4 and a total point score of 363. The Toros finished above top Division I programs in Pepperdine and Loyola Marymount. CSUDH also finished in the top three among CCAA squads, beating out Cal Poly Pomona and CS San Bernardino programs and behind Cal State LA and UC San Diego, a good sign for the CCAA championships coming up in four weeks. The Anteaters of UC Irvine took the meet with a total point score of 41, time of 1:34:40.0 and average time of 18:56.

D'AMICO HAS STRONG MEET, AGAIN

CS DOMINGUEZ HILLS SEES NEW FACES IN PACK
Not only did the Toros regulars have a strong meet, some new faces were in the Toros pack. Rhetta finished with a time of 24:48.0, Onwubere clocked a time of 25:46.0 and Udechukwa finished at 25:54.o.
