Toros Softball Program to Host Second Annual Christmas Camp
CSUDH set to host three-day clinic from December 19-21 at Toro Diamond

CARSON, Calif.- The Cal State Dominguez Hills softball program, under the direction of second-year head coach Jim Maier, is set to host its second annual Christmas Camp on December 19-20 at Toro Diamond in Carson.

In his first year at the helm of the Toros program, Maier led the Toros to a record-tying season with 36 wins.

The camp will feature CSUDH assistant coaches Peejay Brun, Gil Garcia, Tom Gordon and Sandy Diaz as well as current Toro softball players. The camp will teach a variety of fundamentals including; proper stretching and warm-ups, infield/outfield defensive drills and bullpen workouts for pitchers.

The clinic is open to campers ages 8-17, and teams are welcome. The clinic is divided into two sessions, with the camp for ages 8-13, running from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and campers ages 14-17, going from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The cost of the clinic is $75 per camper. Special team rates apply with teams of ten or more players.
