Toros Ink Two for 2002-03 Women's Basketball
CSUDH women's basketball coach Van Girard adds two to 2002-03 roster

CARSON, Calif.- Cal State Dominguez Hills head women's basketball coach Van Girard has announced that Jessica Brown and Teresa Cooper have signed National Letters of Intent to play for the Toros in the 2002-03 season.

Brown is a product of Don Lugo High School in Chino Hills, CA. The 6-2 center is expected to have an impact on future CSUDH women's basketball success. Brown will graduate from Don Lugo in 2002.

"She has great size, great hands, a nice touch around the basket, and will be definitely a prominent player for us in years to come."

Cooper is a 5-9 standout senior guard out of Simi Valley High School in Simi Valley, CA. Coach Girard anticipates that Cooper will be a quality addition to next years roster. Cooper is expected to graduate from Simi Valley HS in 2002.

"She is a good outside shooter, who slashes well to the basket. She is a great basketball player from a strong program. We are happy to have her."
