March 6, 2002

CARSON, Calif.- The Cal State Dominguez Hills athletic department has announced that as of March 12, 2002, the Toros baseball and softball teams will be competing at off-sight locations, due to the relocation of both venues as a result of the start of construction for the National Training Center .

The Toros baseball team will be competing at Los Angeles Southwest College in Los Angeles, approximately 20 minutes north of the CSUDH campus. They will host San Francisco State University in a four-game series beginning March 22. The LA Southwest campus is located at 1600 W. Imperial Highway in Los Angeles. It is accessible by the 105 and 405 freeways that run through Los Angeles.

The Toros softball team will stay within the city of Carson. The team's home field will be Dolphin Park, located just minutes from the campus. They will host CS Stanislaus in a doubleheader on Friday, March 22. Dolphin Park is located at 21205 Water Street in Carson, minutes from the 405 freeway.

Current work is being done on the fields to ensure that they are CCAA and NCAA compliant. Please check the CSUDH Athletic Department website for updates and information about construction
