CARSON, Calif.- The Cal State Dominguez Hills
athletic department has announced that as of March 12, 2002, the
Toros baseball and softball teams will be competing at off-sight
locations, due to the relocation of both venues as a result of the
start of construction for the National Training Center .
The Toros baseball team will be competing at
Los Angeles Southwest College in Los Angeles, approximately 20
minutes north of the CSUDH campus. They will host San Francisco
State University in a four-game series beginning March 22. The LA
Southwest campus is located at 1600 W. Imperial Highway in Los
Angeles. It is accessible by the 105 and 405 freeways that run
through Los Angeles.
The Toros softball team will stay within the
city of Carson. The team's home field will be Dolphin Park,
located just minutes from the campus. They will host CS Stanislaus
in a doubleheader on Friday, March 22. Dolphin Park is located at
21205 Water Street in Carson, minutes from the 405 freeway.
Current work is being done on the fields to
ensure that they are CCAA and NCAA compliant. Please check the
