CARSON, Calif.--The Cal State Dominguez Hills
soccer program will be hosting its annual soccer camp this year.
The popular training camp will feature two sessions with each
lasting one week.
Toros head socer coach Joe Flanagan, the
all-time winningest coach in school history, and his assistant
Mike Jacobson will direct the camp. Flanagan has been a fixture in
the South Bay and Cal State Dominguez Hills community for the past
17 years as a player and a coach. He has led CSUDH to two
consecutive appearances in the NCAA Division II National
Championship game and a title in 2000 with a 23-1-1 record.
Featured clinicians this year will be South
Torrance High School head coach Jeff Tuttle, Cal State San
Bernardino assistant women's coach Mary Jo Soufl and former CSUDH
All-American players Sean Lockhart and Joe Cartlidge.
The first session of camp will run from July 29
- Aug. 2 and the second session will run from Aug. 5 - Aug. 9. The
individual portion of the camp will go from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm and
the team portion of the camp will go from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
The camp is certain to sell out so make plans
to sign up early. The camp is open to boy's and girl's for the
morning and evening sessions. Each camper will receive a NIKE camp
T-shirt. Cost for the week-long camp is $125.00 per person and
$1000.00 per team (10 player minimum).
