Toros Compete at CCAA Cross Country Championships

The Toros were in action Saturday at the CCAA Championships, hosted by Cal State Bakersfield. Cal State Dominguez Hills finished in a tenth place tie with host CSUB, tallying a team score of 295. Once again, the top finisher for the Toros was senior Aracne Albarran. She crossed the line in 34th place with a time of 22:49.02 on the 5K course.

Victoria Flores was second for CSUDH today, as she clocked in at 26:16.75. Sherron Rhetta was the third Toro to finish in the top 100, checking in at 27:01.96.

The CCAA team championship was won by Chico State, who had six runners finish in the top 20. The individual title went to Cal State LA's Annemarie Housen, who finished yards ahead, ripping the tape at 20:52.10.
