Davis Named Brine CCAA Women's Soccer Player of the Week
Senior Lecia Davis registered game-winning goal in leading Toros to two victories last week

CARSON, Calif.--Cal State Dominguez Hills midfielder Lecia Davis has been named the Brine California Collegiate Athletic Association Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of October 28 - November 3 it was announced by the league office today.

Davis, a senior from Torrance (N. Torrance HS), led the Toros to two wins to close out the regular season last week. She had an assist and scored the game-winning goal with under two minutes to play to give CSUDH a 2-1 win over Cal State Bakersfield. Davis tallied an assist in the Toros' 2-0 win at Cal State L.A. to finish the week with one goal and two assists.

The weekly honor is the first for Davis since joining the program in 2001, and the second such honor for the Toros this year. Davis joins CSUDH goalie Alba Garcia who was selected for the week of Sept. 9-15.
