Toros No Match for Cal State Bakersfield, Men Lose 92-59
Roadrunners shoot 61% on the night led by Terri Miller's 20 points

CARSON, Calif.-Cal State Bakersfield broke a mini two-game slide with a resounding 92-59 win over host Cal State Dominguez Hills in California Collegiate Athletic Association action Saturday night in the Torodome. The Bakersfield victory is the 18th-straight over the Toros dating back to the 1993-94 season.

Terri Miller led five players in double-digits for CSUB (18-7, 13-7 CCAA). Miller registered a double-double with 20 points and 13 rebounds. Fabian Pinnock had a double-double of his own with 13 points and 11 boards. Sharpshooter Billy Speer, who was 7-10 from the field, poured in 18 points while Damarius Akins and Martin Rajniak finished with 14 and 10 points respectively.

Cal State Dominguez Hills' Justin Goree and Andre' Brown came off the bench to lead the team offensively with 12 and 11 points. Michael Crawford also contributed 11 points on the night while leading the team with five rebounds.

Cal State Bakersfield took the lead for good at 15:31 on a jumper in the paint by Miller, 10-9. It was a five-point game over the next nine minutes before the 'Runners went on a 25-8 run to close out the half and take a 22-point lead into the locker room.

Bakersfield came out blazing to open up the second opening up a 30 point lead, 65-35, in the first five minutes. The Toros would not get any closer than 26 points in the second half. CSUB would build its margin up to as much as 39 points before settling for the 92-59 victory.

The Toros will close out its season next weekend when they host Chico State and UC Davis on Friday and Saturday night. Both games are scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. start.
