CARSON, Calif.--The Cal State Dominguez Hills
baseball team helped celebrate the National Education Association
Read Across America Project Monday (Mar. 3) by visiting the
children at Hopkinson Elementary School in Los Alamitos.
The entire team participated and read Dr. Seuss
books to entire classrooms on a day that marked Dr. Seuss's
birthday, March 3rd. Afterwards, the team played with the children
on the playground and signed autographs.
"We look forward to this
opportunity each year," said Head Coach George Wing. "Our
players love doing this and the kids are just fantastic. It is a
fun and very rewarding experience for all of us involved."
