CARSON, Calif.- The 2003 Cal State Dominguez
Hills Athletics golf classic will be held on Friday, June 6, at
the beautiful Lakewood Country Club. This annual event serves as
the major fundraiser for Toro athletics with all funds going
towards student-athlete scholarships.
The day begins with a shotgun start at 7:00
a.m. The four-man best ball scramble includes contests for longest
drive, closest to the pin and the chance to win a new car with a
hole-in-one courtesy of Cormier Chevrolet in Long Beach, CA.
A complimentary breakfast and lunch is provided
for all participants as well as food and beverages during the
round of golf. Following the tournament during lunch, a silent
auction will be held featuring many one-of-a-kind items. A raffle
will also take place for CSUDH merchandise, apparel and various
other valuable prizes. In addition, every player will receive a
certificate for a free custom fitted 60 degree lob wedge ($99
retail value) complements of Giant Golf.
The tournament sells out every year so be sure
to reserve your spot today by downloading the information brochure
and entry form and returning it as indicated thereon.

Entry fees and participants for the 2003 Golf Classic must be
received at the Cal State Dominguez Hills Athletic Department by
May 2. Also, there are various sponsorship packages available.
