CARSON, Calif.-Cal State Dominguez Hills senior
softball player Renee Snyder (Mater Dei HS) closed out her
collegiate career with 2003 All-West Region Second Team honors as
selected by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).The
senior outfielder out of Anaheim, CA, is a two-year member of the
Toro squad.
This season, she led the team from the plate,
posting an impressive .328 batting average. She tallied 45 hits,
with 11 doubles and a team-leading three triples on the year.
Snyder was an anchor in the outfield, seeing
action in 53 of the Toros 55 games this season.
The Toros wrapped up the 2003 season with a
37-17-1 ledger. The 37 wins mark set a new CSUDH record for wins
in a season.
Cal State Dominguez Hills made its first
appearance in the NCAA tournament in 14 years.
