Carson, CA -- Cal State Dominguez Hills junior
Jenny Buncio (Carson, CA/West Torrance) posted a 21st-place finish
at the 59th Annual Aztec Cross Country Invitational hosted by San
Diego State, leading the Toros cross country team to an overall
10th-place finish Saturday morning.
The Carson native finished the 5K race in a
time of 19:17, finishing ahead of many Division I runners
including those from UCLA, UC Irvine, USC and host SDSU. Fellow
junior Alejandra Contreras (El Monte, CA/Mt. SAC) posted the
second-best time for the Toros, finishing in 42nd place in a time
of 19:50.
