Cal State Dominguez Hills' Tanya Wilson Named Brine CCAA Player of the Week
Senior forward scored eight points last week including the game-winning goal at Cal State Stanislaus

CARSON, Calif.--Senior forward Tanya Wilson (Palm Springs/Palm Springs HS) has been named the Brine California Collegiate Athletic Association Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of September 8-14 as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.

Wilson, a senior from Palm Springs, led the Toros to wins over Cal State Stanislaus and Cal State Bakersfield to open the CCAA season. She scored two goals in a 3-2 win at Stanislaus, including the game-winning shot on the road. Wilson then led the Toros to a 4-3 win over Bakersfield with a goal and two assists. For the week, she tallied three goals and two assists in two games for a total of eight points.
