LA JOLLA, Calif.--In a wild game down in San Diego, the Cal State Dominguez Hills men's soccer team saw their unbeaten streak come to an end with a 3-2 loss to UC San Diego in California Collegiate Athletic Association action Sunday night.

CSUDH, ranked No. 2 in this week's national poll, is now 9-1-1 on the season and 5-1-1 in CCAA play.

UCSD jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the first minute of play. However, Francisco Corona equalized five minutes later at 6:11 off a corner kick from Wilmer Lopez.

Corona gave the Toros a 2-1 lead before halftime at 38:24 hammering a 25-yard blast from the left side to the upper far corner of the net.

However, UC San Diego scored two unanswered second half goals to upset Cal State Dominguez Hills.

In all, CSUDH was issued seven yellow cards and two red cards - in the final minute of the contest - to Kevin Sosa and goalie Javier Barragan. Both will have to sit out the Toros next game against Seattle University on Oct. 3rd.

CSUDH outshot UC San Diego 19-11 on the night.
