Women's Soccer Moves Up to No. 1 in Far West Region Rankings
CSUDH moves to No. 1 in region after upset over UC San Diego; also No. 8 nationally tying highest ever

CARSON, Calif.--The Cal State Dominguez Hills women's soccer team moved up to the top spot in the Far West Region in the new NSCAA/adidas polls.

The Toros also climbed 13 spots to No. 8 in the country after going 3-0-0 last week including a 3-2 upset win over UC San Diego on Sunday. The national ranking is the highest for CSUDH since they were ranked No. 8 on September 10, 2001.

Cal State Dominguez Hills is back in action this weekend hosting regional foe Humboldt State on Sunday, Oct. 5. First kick is set for 11:00 a.m.
