Sena Named as Brine/CCAA Women's Soccer Player of the Week

Cal State Dominguez Hills midfielder Michelle Sena has been named the Brine California Collegiate Athletic Association Women’s Soccer Player of the Week for the week of September 22-28.

Sena, a sophomore from San Pedro, scored 2 gamewinning goals and added an assist to lead the 21st-ranked Toros to a 3-0 week in CCAA play. She took a pass at the top of the box and sent a blast to the upper far corner to give CSUDH a 1-0 win over Pomona.

Sena scored the first goal in a 4-0 shutout at Grand Canyon four days later, then assisted on the first goal of the game in the Toros’ 3-2 upset at previously unbeaten and 4th-ranked UC San Diego.
