SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.--Jenny Buncio
(Carson/West Torrance HS) and Alejandra Contreras (El Monte/Mt.
SAC) finished in third and fourth-place respectively to lead the
Cal State Dominguez Hills women's cross country team to a
third-place finish at the San Francisco State Invitational at
Golden Gate Park.
Buncio completed the 6K run in third-place
after running the course in 22:38. Contreras finished with a time
of 22:42 for a fourth-place finsish to help outpace the Toros over
CCAA school's Sonoma State and host San Francisco State.
The CSUDH team was the top NCAA Division II
team in the meet. Only San Jose State and Fresno State finished
ahead of the Toro harriers.
Other CSUDH finishers were:

The Toros travel to UC San Diego next weekend
