No. 17 Women's Soccer Blanks San Francisco State, 1-0

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.--- The number 17th ranked Cal State Dominguez Hills women's soccer team blanked San Francisco State University, 1-0, Sunday afternoon at Cox Stadium in a California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) match.

CSUDH is now 11-2-1 and 8-0-1 in league play while SFSU drops to 9-6-0 and 4-5-0 in league play.

The Toros scored at the 25:15 mark when Chantel Eastwood (Garden Grove/Mayfaird HS)on a Tanya Wilson (Palm Springs/Palm Springs HS) to give CSUDH the 1-0 lead. Cal State Dominguez Hills had 16 shots on goal to the Gators' 8.

Alba Garcia (Chino Hills/Don Lugo HS) recorded six saves in goal for the Toros to earn the shutout victory, her fourth of the season.

CSUDH is back in CCAA action on Friday hosting Chico State. First kick is set for 7 PM.
