CARSON, Calif.--Chantel Eastwood (Garden
Grove/Mayfair HS) tallied the game-winning goal for the Toros in
the 35th minute of play as Cal State Dominguez Hills came back
from an early 1-0 deficit and scored four unanswered goals to
defeat visiting Cal State Stanislaus, 4-1, Saturday after noon at
Toro Field in California Collegiate Athletic Association play.
CSUDH, ranked No. 17 in the latest NSCAA/adidas
poll, improve to 13-3-1 and 10-1-1 in league action, while Cal

Mosey Murgia put CSUS up 1-0 at the 13:12
minute mark, taking a nice pass from Danielle Ciraulo from the
right side and sent her shot to the far post.
Sarah Gibson (La Habra/Sonora HS) tied it for
the Toros at 29:37 when she took a Laci Gruner (Long Beach/Mayfair

to the upper far post for the equalizer.

collecting a deflection off a Warrior defender and sending her
blast to the upper far post to make it 2-1. That was all the Toro
defense would need holding Stanislaus to two shots in the first
half.

her fourth goal of the season at 39:18. Gruner took a nice
crossing pass from Kristen Walsh (Lakewood/Mayfair HS) and tapped

also credited with an assist on the play.
Kim Hearn (Whitter/Whittier HS) put the game
out of reach when she registered her first goal of the year. At
48:12, Hearn took a nice pass from the right side from Walsh and
sent her shot to the back of the net to make it 4-1.
