CARSON, Calif.--With Cal State San Bernardino
winning its rescheduled game against UC San Diego on Monday, the
field for the 2003 California Collegiate Athletic Association
men's soccer championship has been set.
Cal State Dominguez Hills, ranked No. 3 in the
nation, is the CCAA Central Division champion and will be the No.
1 seed. Chico State, ranked No. 12, will be the No. 2 seed as the
CCAA North Division champion.
Cal State San Bernardino, with its 1-0 win
yesterday over UC San Diego, earned the No. 3 seed as the South
Division champion, while UC San Diego enters the tournament as the
wild card and No. 4 seed.
The first men's semifinal on Friday, November 7
will pit Chico State versus CS San Bernardino at 4:30 p.m. CSUDH
and UC San Diego will play the late game at 7:00 p.m.
