Guerrero Named Brine CCAA Player of the Week

CARSON, Calif.--Cal State Dominguez Hills midfielder Victor Guerrero (Santa Ana/Century HS) has been named the Brine California Collegiate Athletic Association Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of October 27 through November 2 as announced by the league office this week.

Guerrero, a senior from Santa Ana, led the Toros to wins over Cal State Bakersfield and Cal State L.A. to close the regular season. He tallied the lone goal on a penalty kick at CSUB, then registered another goal on a penalty kick and added an assist in a 3-2 win over Cal State L.A. His five points on the week tied him with CSUDH Head Coach Joe Flanagan atop the Toros' all-time scoring list (89). Cal State Dominguez Hills finished the regular season with a 17-1-2 record.

This honor comes on the heels of Guerrero being named the CCAA Men's Soccer Most Valuable Player as selected by the league coaches.
