league-leading 31 stolen bases on the season. The speedster
eclipsed CSUDH's previous single-season stolen base record earlier
this year (25), and has swiped 21-consecutive bases after
beginning the season with 10 steals in a row. She has multiple
steals in seven games thus far, including a season-high four-steal

stealing 64 more bases than their opponents.
The Toros, sporting an overall record of
27-14-1and 17-12 in conference and having won 11 of their last 12
games, are in third place in the CCAA. After sweeping both Cal
State Stanislaus and Cal State Bakersfield last weekend, they

CSUB, and trail second-place UC San Diego by only 1/2 game.
In the latest West Region poll released this
afternoon, the Toros moved to No. 4 from No. 9, trailing only
Western New Mexico, Humboldt State and Cal State Bakersfield,
schools that all lost their season series to the Toros. The top
six teams in the region qualify for the NCAA Regional playoffs,
which occur May 6-9 at a location TBA.
