Annual event serves as major fundraiser for CSUDH student-athlete scholarships

Carson, CA --The 2004 Cal State Dominguez Hills Athletics Golf Classic will be held on Friday, June 4, at the beautiful Lakewood Country Club in Lakewood, CA. This annual event serves as the major fundraiser for the Toros athletics program, with all proceeds going towards student-athlete scholarships.

The day begins with a 6:00 a.m. registration / continental breakfast, followed by a shotgun start at 7:00 a.m. The four-man best ball scramble includes contests for closest to the pin and longest drive, along with a few other surprises. After the round of golf concludes, a lunch will be served to all participants, which will be immediately followed by a silent auction consisting of many one-of-a-kind items. A raffle also will take place featuring CSUDH merchandise, apparel and various other valuable prizes.

There are only a few foursomes left in the tournament, so be sure to reserve your spot today by downloading the information brochure and entry form and returning it as soon as possible. The entry form can be found here on The Toros Online using the above link.

In addition, sponsorship packages are available to help fund student-athlete scholarships for the coming years.

The deadline for entry fees, participants and sponsorships for the 2004 Golf Classic has been extended to May 28, and should be sent to the Cal State Dominguez Hills Athletics Department.
