Corona Named Brine/CCAA Men's Soccer Player of Week

Cal State Dominguez Hills forward Francisco Corona has been named the Brine California Collegiate Athletic Association Men’s Soccer Player of the Week for the week of September 7-12.

Corona, a junior from Compton, led the Toros to wins over Concordia (CA) and Grand Canyon last week. He scored two goals and added an assist to lead the Toros to a 4-1 win over Concordia (Sept. 9).

Corona then tallied a goal and assist to power CSUDH to a 3-0 win over Grand Canyon (Sept. 12).

For the week, Corona scored 3 goals and added 2 assist for a 2.0 points-per-game average as the Toros went 2-0.
