CARSON, Calif.--(Sept. 16, 2004)--The Cal State
Dominguez Hills men's golf team kicks-off its 2004-05 schedule
this weekend when it travels to Beaumont, California, to compete
at the inaugural Gold Rush California Collegiate Golf Showcase
presented by TaylorMade-adidas beginning on Friday at the PGA of
Southern California Golf Club.
The 29-team tournament is hosted by UCLA and is
a 54-hole event that will be played over two courses. The Legends
course is a par-72 that plays 7,303 yards while the Champions
Course is a par-72, measuring 7,223 yards. You can follow the

The two-day tourney calls for 36 holes on
Friday followed with a final 18-hole round on Saturday.
The tournament is hosted by UCLA and is
comprised of all California teams, including: Cal Poly - SLO, Cal
State Bakersfield, Cal State Northridge, Chico State, Cal State
San Bernardino, Cal State San Marcos, Fresno State, Long Beach
State, San Diego State, San Jose State, Sonoma State, Loyola
Marymount, Master's College, Pacific, Pepperdine, Redlands, Santa
Clara, Stanford, San Diego, San Francisco, UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC
Riverside, UC San Diego and UCLA.
