Toro's Szasz Named
CCAA/Brine Men's Soccer Player of Week |

Courtesy CCAA Media Relations Office WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- Cal State Dominguez Hills midfielder Adrian Szasz has been named the Brine California Collegiate Athletic Association Men’s Soccer Player of the Week for the week of October 11-17. Szasz, a sophomore from Stroudsburg, Pa., led the Toros to a 4-1 win over San Francisco State (Oct. 15) and a 3-2 victory over Sonoma State (Oct. 17) last week. He scored two goals against the SF State, then assisted on a goal with less than four minutes remaining that lifted CSUDH to the win over Sonoma. Szasz intercepted a pass on the Toros’ side of the field and placed a long ball at Francisco Corona’s feet, enabling Corona to beat the goalie for the decisive tally. |
