Down 34-30 at the break, CSUDH (5-12, 4-6 CCAA) outscored the Otters by 13 points scoring a season-high 53 points in the second half to go on for the CCAA victory.

Several players had to step up this evening for the Toros as the squad was without leading rebounder, senior forward Eric Crookshank (Vallejo, CA/Chabot JC) who was out with flu like symptoms. Despite not having Crookshank available, the Toros out-rebounded the Otters 36-29 in the game.

Harvey led all with 21 points including 9-of-11 at the free throw line. Quishawn Harrell (Long Beach, CA/LB Wilson HS) followed with a season-high 18 points, and also was sharp from the charity stripe going 8-for-9. As a team the Toros shot a season-high 80% from the charity stripe. Les Norman (Lebanon, IL/Coppin State) and Phillip Givens (Los Angeles, CA/Manuel Arts HS) rounded out the Toro quartet in double figures with 15 and 12 points respectively.

Cal State Dominguez Hills is back in league action next weekend as they continue this three-game road swing to Northern California. The Toros will travel to Sonoma State on Friday, February 4 to take on the Seawolves. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Rohnert Park.
