Chico State Women's Basketball Game Added to Webcast Schedule

CARSON, Calif.--(February 17, 2005)--Friday night's women's basketball game against Chico State has been added to the Cal State Dominguez Hills webcast schedule. First tip is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. with the pregame show, hosted by Ronnie Wald, beginning at 5:20 p.m.

Saturday's webcast against Cal State Stanislaus has been cancelled, which opened up a slot for Friday's game.

The game has major implications in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) title chase. Chico State enters the game in second place with an 11-3 league record, just one game back of Cal State Dominguez Hills who is atop the standings at 12-2.

Earlier this season, CSUDH brought an end to Chico's home court win streak by defeating the Wildcats, 73-71, in Chico.

The Toros are ranked No. 3 in this week's NCAA West Region poll. Chico State, which held the No. 3 spot last week, dropped down to No. 4 after splitting its games last weekend. The CCAA Champion is awarded one of eight berths into the postseason regional tournament, which will be held at a site yet to be determined on March 11-14.
